Sleigh Bells - Rill Rill
Ok so I downloaded Sleigh Bells 'Treats' album and am listening to it on the bus ride home from work............ and wow it is crazy. At points I was like there is some aweful noise happening here, so I turned it up a little louder and am like wow this is incredibly amazing. So at the same time it can be annoying as hell it is also unique and different and Great all at the sametime. I love this Rill Rill song, I will be interested in seeing the official video for it whenever it is released.

Tame Impala - Solitude is Bliss
Been awhile since the last post. Must have had a baby or something. Anyways Tame Impala are out of Australia and Solitude is Bliss is off the debut album InnerSpeaker. Has a good retro feel to it.

The National - Terrible Love
The National are a band that should be huge. I think if anyone listened to High Violet they would understand why. I think this album will put them over the top. It is an awesome album start to finish. Terrible Love is the first song on the new album and at first listen it blew me away. Time to jump on board with this incredible band.

Arcade Fire - Keep the Car Running
This is from the BBC Radio 2 Session. Neon Bible album blew me away, I love every song on that album but this song "Keep The Car Running" has to be my personal fav. My little brother is living in Montreal and it turns out Arcade Fire are from Montreal and played a free show last night. I called him to tell him to go but I know he probably didn't. I actually put this album up close to the category of Radiohead's The Bends - and that album is untouchable.

Neon Trees - Animal
Just thought I would post a little local music flav to the blog. Neon Trees formed in Provo, UT of all places. They actually opened for The Killers a couple of years back before they were signed with any label. Well now they are one of the big rock stories in Utah. City Weekly rated them best local band of the year, song has been on commericals, played Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel. Oh and you might be wondering if they are Mormon? YES they are. Here is a cool article to check out on them..... http://www.411mania.com/music/news/111880
The Raveonettes - Love in a Trashcan
As far as I am concerned The Raveonettes are one of those bands that just doesn't get the credit they deserve. They have a unique sound and a unique look. This video is super cool, I almost like it as much as the song itself. I usually could care less about music videos but this one I had to watch twice.

The New Pornographers - Mutiny, I Promise You
Ok I love this song, but yes the video is a little crazy silly. Being a big Flight of the Concords fan it was pretty funny seeing Mel in the video.

The Sounds - Home is Where Your Heart is (Acoustic)
I found this cool acoustic version of Home is Where the Heart is. I think the background looks awesome you could make a fun little music store (or maybe it already is) out of it. Anyways it is just a kind of fun slow tune.
Here is the album version of the song
