Hear is what the lead singer Dylan Baldi has to say about the process of writing 'Understand At All'. "I was struggling a lot while I was in the writing process for the self-titled record, but then I played the chords that open this song. Right away I was launched into a more creative mindset, and everything came together from there. I'm particularly proud of this song because I think it sums up all my influences pretty nicely, but comes off sounding only like a Cloud Nothings song."
