The Entrance Band - Live Review (SLC, UT)

The Twilight Concert Series kicked off week 3 with The Entrance Band opening up for Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros.

With not alot of knowledge of The Entrance Band going into the night I came out of the night with a strong feeling of what this band was all about. The California 3-piece
offer up a wide range of funk, rock, psychedelic and are not shy about playing their guitars and drums with a purpose. They played 'Back In The City' for the SLC crowd and added a personal touch with bassist Paz Lenchantin changing up the lyrics to Salt Lake City.

The band also added a Love cover song as part of their set and really offered a nice opening band touch to what Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros would have to offer later in the evening. A lot of The Magnetic Zeros were actually sitting at the side of the stage for the first half of The Entrance Bands set which was a nice gesture. The band closed out with some high energy guitar solos showcasing their musical talents.
