Mister Heavenly - LIVE REVIEW

I'm going to start out by saying, I really love Kilby Court (Salt Lake City). I've seen a lot of good bands play the venue. So to see Honus Honus (Man Man), Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse/The Shins), and Nicholas Thorburn (Islands) play in a band together, for lack of a better word, was awesome. They interacted with the crowd quite a bit, with Thorburn making humorous comments, such as, "Ken Garff must run a lot of shit in this town." At one point in the show, Plummer threw a maraca to one of the audience members and signaled to shake it, which they did. After the song Honus Honus gave the individual a high five. They basically played all the songs off of their debut album Out of Love. For being such a small intimate space, I couldn't have asked for a better show. Two thumbs up, well done.
