Play It Forward: Indian Rebound

Indian Rebound are a very young 3-piece band, from the heart of the USA garage rock scene, New York. For being 17 years old, their sound is much more mature, as they offer up some big time choruses and some fantastic lyrics from front man, Levenson. They just released a new single 'The Wooden Ones' which is available for a free download (below). It has a great sound to it as they guitars, drums and vocals all work so well together. 'The Wooden Ones' is the first of three new tracks and was recorded with Ted Young (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Male Bonding) over at Headgear Recording in Brooklyn, NY.

Indian Rebound have created a classic Brit Pop sound that is layered with some raw garage New York noise. That is the type of sound I have come to love over the years. It is a refreshing return to rock sound that has the guitars, drums and vocals all hitting in stride. You might want to file Indian Rebound just under the likes of Howler, as their sounds are very similar and with a little push they might have the same opportunity in the near future.
