Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Hysterical VIDEO

I will always remember the song 'The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth' from CYHSY self-titled debut album from 2005. The song was a phenomenal mix of indie sounds with a smash of intense rock music. Fast forward to 2011 and you get the third release from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah titled Hysterical. There is now a video up for the newest single 'Hysterical' which also matches the albums title. The video is an artsy type that uses fast moving images with bright paint splattered throughout to help create a perfect mix of visual with music.

Hysterical Lyrics:
Here comes the newest apparition
To set fire to all the flowers
Now I should have known it was you who would call
When vainly I escaped into the ever-changing rapids
To your boat with a sign which read “get in and hold on.”

Calls for luck
Heal the weak
We should just grow up

And so I hid behind the dishes in the night
Until you woke to find me trembling like an emasculated dog
There is no sense in even trying to track the weather pattern
Is it better to leave than to blindly hold on?

Hysterical . . .

Let me out
Of the rain
Let me down
I want to make my last mistake

Hysterical . . .
