Desert Noises - I Won't See You EP - REVIEW

Desert Noises latest addition to their catalog features their new EP I Won't See You. The title track starts the 3-song EP out in nice fashion. It is a nice slow low key track that is a solid follow up to the bands debut album Mountain Sea. The tempo and rhythm on this particular track works so well together and offers up a mature song as a result. The 2nd song  'Wings Of White' brings a great harmony and honest song. I am a big fan of how the vocals take ownership right from the first note and how the drums and guitars are mixed in perfectly. 'Birds' is a little more up tempo and sounds like it would make for a fun song to play live, it closes out the EP in strong fashion.

Although only a modest 3 song EP, the Provo based band are only expanding on their sound. I Won't See You EP is bound to open up some additional doors in the bands music journey. Desert Noises are a hard working local Utah band, that are not afraid to hit the road and promote their work in honest fashion. I see this EP as a nice placeholder in between their debut album and those waiting for their sophomore album. By the sounds of it Desert Noises are making their fans know that the wait will be well worth it.
